From early-stage accounts to established brands — what I've seen actually work.

Cases

Three situations from practice

Anonymised for confidentiality, using only interventions and outcomes that actually happened.

Vendor recovery · 1 quarter

From 15% to 6% ACoS while recovering lost revenue

Situation. A bol.com Vendor account was losing substantial revenue, lacked commercial reporting for more than 1,000 SKUs and had too little control over stock and advertising.

Intervention. Recovered the contractual data, structured a full year of reports, diagnosed lost sales by product, rebuilt campaigns and introduced biweekly stock reviews with the buyer.

Result. ACoS fell from 15% to 6%. Most of the lost revenue was recovered before quarter end, with a repeatable workflow for the new marketplace employee.

Hybrid vendor + seller

From almost no sales to container-level volume

Situation. The buy box moved between bol Retail and the brand's Plaza account, while a high wholesale price limited bol's ability to price competitively.

Intervention. Negotiated full-pallet and truck purchasing, split the range between deep vendor purchasing and controlled Plaza sales, and set a sales-velocity threshold for renewed bol purchasing.

Result. One product that barely sold grew to container-level volume.

Resellers and the buy box

Building visibility without immediately giving it away

Situation. Resellers lowered price only after the brand had created momentum. The brand funded visibility, lost the buy box and later had to reinvest.

Intervention. Introduced unique virtual bundles to improve buy-box control, combined with advice on tighter supplier and distribution control.

Result. A structural route to protect brand, margin and accumulated ranking without starting an unsustainable price war.

From startup to established brand

Accounts built from zero, but also established accounts losing revenue that got turned back around.

Strategy for both bol.com and Amazon

Advertising and content strategy aimed at getting products onto page 1.

Revenue growth, anonymized

Three years, same account. Amounts and client name are left out; the proportions between the years are real.

How I work

Four things I hold to on every account.

Honest audit upfront

Before we start, I map out what's already working and what isn't, based on data.

Data-driven prioritization

I focus first on the actions with the biggest expected impact, not everything at once.

Transparent reporting

You see exactly what's happening and why, weekly and in the monthly strategy session.

Realistic expectations

I won't promise a fixed growth rate. What I do bring is an approach that's worked before, adapted to your situation.
